SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) –
He wants to be known as a job creator and entrepreneur, and now, he’s also a candidate for Congress.
Martin Babinec formally announced his Independent candidacy for Congress in the 22nd district.
Babinec’s website touts his founding of a non-profit called Upstate Venture Connect, whose mission is creation of what he calls an “entrepreneur-led startup ecosystem for Upstate New York.”
