The race for congress in the 22nd District already has at least six or seven candidates and now, one of those candidates appears ready to fund much of his own campaign.
Little Falls native Martin Babinec has now loaned $1 million to his own campaign from personal assets.
Babinec said he will not accept any special interest political action committee money.
His Independent run for Congress and refusal of PAC money will allow him, if elected, to be beholden to no one but the voters, Babinec said.
