Humble Beginnings airs tonight throughout NY22
Little Falls, New York – Martin Babinec, a successful businessman, serial entrepreneur, startup investor and smart jobs advocate today launched his first television ad as an independent candidate for the 22nd Congressional District.
The bio ad features Martin, his wife Krista and their life story as successful entrepreneurs who moved back home to upstate New York after founding a $2 billion Silicon Valley company. Since returning to Little Falls in 1999, Martin has pursued his passion of connecting literally hundreds of new and aspiring entrepreneurs with the resources they need to be successful.
“Krista and I are both from upstate New York, we love it here and wanted to raise our three children here. But what we accomplished in Silicon Valley – we could have never accomplished here, I’m running for Congress to change that,” said Babinec.
He added, “From the colleges and the universities, to our great workforce and research and development we have all the ingredients right here to create an environment where entrepreneurs of any age can live their dreams, what we need is the right leadership.”
The ad, “Humble Beginnings,” starts airing tonight on networks and cable systems throughout the district.
I’m sure everyone that has been living in Upstate New York, knows the situation, the history here: friends, family, someone that worked at a job in a factory, perhaps a few generations at the same plant; or a job that was supported by a factory. It was all swept away as the world changed, but our government did not adapt. Companies and jobs departed, then the families, as do most college graduates today. Those of us that remain are strapped with high taxes, high energy costs, and an outdated government structure- one which has not changed the business climate, and yet this same government is now investing billions of taxpayer dollars across Upstate to create and attract outside companies. However they do not pay taxes, receive outsized benefits, and have yet to create the jobs promised. Maybe some of these jobs start to arrive, but with Martin, at least we’d know that the guy at the wheel is; honest, cares deeply, and understands both the challenges and the REAL solutions! I say let’s get Martin into a driver’s seat, and then find a bunch more men and women like him! Change yes, but not just change, we need a new formula and I think Martin really has it.
