Martin is right. We lose too many of our twenty-somethings to other regions.
There isn’t a compelling reason why young people and business startups can’t succeed in Upstate New York… besides this notion about what the region is and isn’t. It’s something that needs to be changed.
I’m glad Martin is running for office. I mean, he had the opportunity to live anywhere in the country and he choose to move back to Little Falls. That’s a vote of confidence in a region, if I have ever heard one.
Little Falls, population 5,000, is my home. It’s where my heart is. After exploring much of the country and world I have a passion for creating a culture in Upstate New York that will match the vibrance of the Silicon Valley startup scene. More innovation companies = more jobs = more opportunities for our next generation talent. Your comment makes this a fight worth fighting. Onward and upward!
Enjoyed the Podcast, and agree wholeheartedly that government is not the job creator. Nor is our current party system going to fix our problems. Martin is making a very bold step, and I’m happy to support his bid!
Martin has integrity and a level-headed approach to our nation’s problems. His character has been molded by his family and his responsibilities as a business man. As an independent he sees things from ‘both sides of the political spectrum encouraging compromise as a vehicle for moving ahead – the only way to ‘get things done’. He has my respect and support.
Much appreciated Sam. We have a long journey ahead, but I feel strong with supporters like you both Babinec for Congress and the Upstate Jobs Party will not only be victorious come November 8, but successful in creating jobs and companies in innovation industries across Upstate New York. Enjoy the day!
